Our project focuses on the theme of collective appreciation and how various events unite people in celebrating shared passions. We plan to explore five unique events: Kew Gardens’ Orchid Festival, an Art Exhibition, Chinese New Year, London Fashion Week, and a Palestinian Protest. Whether centred on culture, creativity, or activism, each of these events demonstrates the power of collective experiences. They illustrate how different communities come together through appreciation, creating a sense of belonging and shared expression. Our aim is to highlight the significance of these gatherings in shaping identities, strengthening connections, and bringing people together. We believe that appreciation goes beyond mere observation; it requires active engagement and connection. By participating in these collective experiences, we have gained firsthand insight into the importance of cultural appreciation and its role in building unity. By sharing these experiences, we aim to promote a deeper respect for and interest in cultural expression and its power to unite people, encouraging a broader understanding of the diverse world we live in.
